There’s a news going around that said internal desktop at IBM would not go to Microsoft VISTA, because they cancelled their contract with Microsoft.
Altough one may think that IBM is some sort of Open Source shop, it is not, they are doing FOSS business because they can make money out of it and they see a future for it. Read this
